Island Paradise

On the one day we didn't go diving, we visited this remote island and the village. It was a Sunday, so all the villagers were dressed up in their nicest clothes for church. They sang for us, and treated us like kings...it was one of those "National Geographic" moments...in fact, Nat Geo was there just a few weeks earlier filming for a couple of days...they filmed one fishing family following them in their daily lives...I can't wait to see the show on TV...

Incredibly beautiful. And your story makes me think of the movie South Pacific, when Bloody Mary takes Lt. Cable to Bali Ha'i.
Wonderful.

A paradise, no doubt! Some people live like this and others have to work hard to earn the money to vacation in places like this...and, then return to work some more. Ironic!

I think something like this is how we were meant to live... not in concrete cities and inside automobiles...
