A Misty Sunrise

Last month, we traveled down...actually East...to Central Java. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the Borobudur at sunrise...

That is Mount Merapi steaming in the back ground. They were predicting a major eruption about a year ago, but it never happened...

Very nice shot. Active volcanos are fascinating - and unpredictable. Glad you take those photos so we can enjoy scenes from the other side of our planet. Pappy

Wow! Amazing picture! The colors are fantastic, but I'm intrigued by the foreground (and of course a volcano is always interesting).

This looks so much like a fantasy world! And those sculptured bell shapes add drama to the sunset glows! Beautiful!
