These underwater shots have brilliant colours! I've never taken any underwater shots, I live inland so I don't get out to the beach often, but these are wonderful. I love the last one, you've really given a personality to that fish.

Cheers,

Thanks for the visit and the great comment.

Those are great shots, Scotty. The third one is spectacular.

I have done a little underwater photography but these are outstanding.

I got her by way of trying to cover all of SWF. It's my second day. Your SWF photos are great too.

I have added you to my Nature Blog Roll.

I used to fly but now that I am retired, too much cost in fuel, insurance, annuals, etc.

Anyway, Beautiful work.

Scotty - came from David's. They've already said it for me - have had a scroll through back through your shots - spectacular colour and superb composition. Ace; a real visual treat. I'm just trying out the blogger draft list (sidebar link) and
will add you if that's ok!

I came here from Marie's and she is right, your photos are amazing! I don't know of anyone else who does underwater photography so this is very unusual and beautiful to me.

Great underwater images. The image that you called "Surreal" is by far my favorite.

What is #6, the spiny purple shrimp creature from the black lagoon?

It's beautiful. You made it even more beautiful. Truly outstanding.

Troy,

The "spiny purple shrimp creature" (I like your name better...ha haa) is a squat lobster...they are very tiny...smaller than your thumbnail. They usually hang out on or inside of a sponge...
